Maureen Fain is a multi-talented artist, painting in both oils and watercolor, a sculptor, teacher and author of articles on watercolor portraiture. She has exhibited widely in 8 countries, with 30 solo and over 50 group exhibitions to her credit.
She is in great demand as a portrait painter. Her watercolors are held in two museums. Maureen’s articles on watercolor portraits and nudes, and her oil series “Angels and Muses”, were featured in prestigious “The Artist” magazine published in the U.K.
Maureen has taught watercolor at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem – the nude, portraiture, color theory and technique – for close to 30 years and has appeared as a guest lecturer in several art forums. In 2015, Maureen Fain represented Israel at the 4th Homer International Watercolor Society Festival in Izmir, Turkey.
